quarter three post eight

time for a new blog post. As i was reading purple hibiscus, i decided to do another blog post. this post is about culture. the book in my opinion is full of culture from the foods which are native to nigeria, to the strong christian backround and family togetherness, which i am also used to. it seems like on every page that is read there is some relation to family and or food, most of the time its just the whole family eating a nigerian soup or stew, or its just the family outing to church, the culture seems to be based on food and family. But lets not forget about religion, in the book they always talk about church and how god will help or not help youm, which i think makes religion a big part of the nigerian culture. this book is very good and i hope to continue to read it as long as it syays entertaining.
